In this episode, James and Ray look the developing conversation. Dylan who entered the debate explosively with 1965’s Like a Rolling Stone, doubles down with a new single, Positively 4th Street. The Rolling Stones achieve a breakthrough with Aftermath, their first entirely self-penned album. At the same time, the Beatles enter an entirely new phase as master songwriters and spokespersons for a generation, spawned from the trauma of not one, but two world wars.
